Juicy Onion Beef Bun


Want to eat some beef in the morning ? No problem, this recipe teach you how to make juicy bun of beef. Love it or not you will eat them all. (Thanks to 猫大王 .)




  1. Melt the Sugar and Yeast in the warn water of about 35 degree in a Big Bowl. Wait for 3 minutes then put in the Plain Flour and mix them into a sphere. Then put it in a warn place (about 35 degree) and wait until it expand to double size.

  2. In the meanwhile mix well the Minced Beef, Dark Soy Sauce, Light Soy Sauce and Cooking Wine.

  3. Add about 150ml water (15ml per time) to the beef and keep stirring until it absorbed.

  4. Finally, put in the Five Spice Powder, Pepper Powder, Salt, Ginger, Scallion and some Oil. Mix them well then put in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.

  5. In the same time, slice the Onion into little pieces.

  6. When the Flour Ball was done, press it and let go all the air in it.

  7. Mix the Minced Beef well with Onion, Sesame Oil and Aginomoto/MSG.

  8. Slice the Flour Ball into little pieces and make it into sheet.

  9. Separate the Minced Beef into little part and pack them with flour sheet. Put them into Steamer and wait for 15 minutes. Then turn on it for about 15 minutes.

  10. It will be done in 5 minutes after turn on the Steamer.
